The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the bill to amend the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Violations (re strengthening responsibility for burnout of plants or their remainders)

The bill (Reg. No. 11309) increases the influence on offenders who burn out stubble, meadows, pastures, and plots with steppe, wetland and other natural plants, its remainders, as well as fallen leaves near securing stands of roads and rail roads, and in the parks, as well as other vegetation and lawns in populated areas.
